Indeed, any ethically improper behaviour has negative consequences within the Association but also mars the industry’s and system’s image in the eyes of the public.
Ethical behaviour cannot be evaluated in terms of strict compliance with the law and the Association charter; it rests on the member’s firm adherence to applying the highest behavioural standards under any circumstance. As members of the Association, the entrepreneurs are committed to:

  • Abide by the laws and labour contracts in their entirety.
  • Behave towards their employees with justice, foster their professional growth and safeguard their safety at work.

Non compliance with the ethical code will cause the trust relationship between the non-complying member and the Association to fail; depending on the circumstances, AIdA might take legal steps to safeguard the interests of the assembly industry and/or the Association’s image. The Court of Arbitration shall see to it that the rules herein are properly applied and draw up a non-compliance report. The report will contain the member’s data, type of non-compliance, the provided sanction and a possible recommendation for removal of the member from AIdA, which shall be confirmed by the Steering Committee.
